All aftermarket parts were added by me and the ONLY reason I am selling is I am moving to Lubbock come summer time to farm so I am in need of a truck. Added Power steering and disc brakes.... All of the ´guts´ replaced including gas tank, radiator, clutch, all belts and hoses, gaskets, bearings, fuel pump, brake lines, all wiring, and way too much to list here.. This Cruiser is very cool. Has 4 inch lift, and another inch or so from shackles. New roll bar, shoulder belts, 35´ tires, black wheels, Rhino lined interior. Hard top, bikini top, hard doors, soft full and 1/2 doors. I have all receipts adding up to around $26,000. This is my daily driver. Has current inspection sticker. Starts easily every time. Garage kept. Original everything.. ´4 on the floor´ new transmission and shifter. I´ve never taken it off road since the re-build, but 4 wheel drive works.Renovation is not complete.. if I was to keep it I would add bucket seats and do the body work.. Needs new instrument cluster, but speedometer and gas gauge work. I´ve gotten the renovation 90% down the road, the rest would be up to you. Give me a holla! Great rig, huge potential. only a couple small body dents. only a little surface rust (which are both very rare for this vintage, these guys lived hard!) Already has less than 1 yr old Mastercraft 32´ tires and a ´4 block lift. Hard top comes off like a jeep and reveals the built-in roll bar. I´ve wanted to own of these vintage 4runner for years and picked this guy up to rebuild him. But I´m just not going to finish it. too much money and time for my situation. It still has some significant engine issues, which i´m not knowledgeable enough to explain I´m afraid. Here´s what we´ve done though. Fully rebuilt top end by a trained mechanic. Entirely new timing system (chain, gears, timing cover). And we chased down alot of the parts that off-roader´s often ditch so the vacuum´s back in it, as well as the Idle Air Control. Everything on the truck works as it should, A/C blows ice cold, starts right up, drives straight and smoothly down the road, and will go where ever you need to go. The timing belt and water pump have been changed recently. I have always changed the oil with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic. Some recent maintenance I have just performed on the truck is new Iridium spark plugs, new front brake pads and rotors, and a new rear axle seal. This 4Runner is one of a kind and I guarantee you will not find another one in Texas that has the same amount of upgrades and money invested as this truck does. This truck gets compliments and looks everywhere I drive it. I have not beat on this truck or abused it at all. This truck has only been used for some occasional trails and have taken it down to the beach a handful of times. I have the clean Texas title in hand. I am asking $10,500 OBO for the 4Runner.
