I worked for toyota for almost five years and this came in as a trade, the original owner was the owner of the dealerships aunt, so EVERYTHING has been done by a toyota certified A tech. ALL preventive maintenance has been done on this vehicle. The timing belt and waterpump have both been done, BRAND new brakes and rotors have been put on, oil changed every 3k miles, tires are ok ( i have 5 girls and i transport them everyday in this vehicle) the ONLY reason we are selling is we are going to have more children and going to make the jump to a van (not that i want to lol) The 4wd has been locked in at least once a month (per toyota ) for at least 10 miles to keep the 4wd lubricated and working properly, ive seen alot that wernt done and it leads to costly repairs. Sequoia is FULLY loaded with everything available in 2002 (except for navigation) Power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power folding mirrors, dual power seats, JBL stereo (cd player not working, but we have just used our ipod in it) leather, side curtain air bags, dual front air bags, abs, traction control, overhead console with miles to empty, avg mpg, and temperature. climate control, (cold a/c and hot heat) cruise, tilt, tow package. Runs and drive excellent!!! We just took it to branson for a weekend, and i would not hesitate to drive it to disney world again. This is probably the most well maintained sequoia you will find. All toyota parts. Below book value on KBB and NADA. Our last toyota we had finally gave out at just a shade under 600k miles with the ORIGINAL motor and transmission. Maintenance is the key on these vehicles. New this vehicle stickered at a little over $48000.00. 4.7 litre V8 . Details: The 3rd generation Toyota 4Runner- quite possibly the most bulletproof SUV ever made. There´s a reason you see these all over the place, they are super reliable and hold up to abuse. What you don´t often see is one that hasn´t been abused, hasn´t been wrecked, has maintenance records, and has a clean CarFax. Behold- the cherry of all 3rd gen 4Runners! With a mere 211,xxx miles, {{looking and driving like a 50,000 mile car!!}}, KBB puts private party value at $6,659. I got a good deal on it when I bought it, so I´m paying it forward at $5,450. I have maintenance records from the previous owners, and from my ownership. Here´s a few highlights- new timing belt and water pump, new shocks all around, new tires, new brakes, fresh alignment, fresh trans fluid, tinted windows; it needs nothing! You could hop in and drive across the country twice before you needed to even change the oil. I´ve seen 4Runners with half the mileage not look or drive half as good as this one. I´m not lying when I say it´s a cherry. The emerald green paint is rarer to find, too. No rust, no leaks, it´s been well maintained all its life. Fuel economy isn´t bad, either. I average 17mpg in town and 21mpg on the highway. That´s the same as a brand new 4Runner! They don´t make ´em like they used to, this 4Runner will still be on the road long after the new plastic ones are falling by the wayside. I also have an external transmission cooler mounted, but not hooked up. I don´t tow anything, but if you want to, you can hook up the external cooler and add an addition level of safety to the transmission. Details: Up for sale is a well taken care of Toyota Pickup 4WD. As you can see the suspension lift is very clean and nice, there is no rust on the frame or body of the truck. The bed is rhino lined. The motor is a 22RE 4 cylinder and was recently rebuilt with less then 50k miles. The truck runs strong and there is absolutely no leaks or smoke. Its a solid motor. The truck is geared to accomadate the lift and wheel size I think they are 4.88 or lower, it also has a Rough Country Suspension Lift and ARB Heavy Duty Front Bumper mounted with IPF Fog Lamps. It also has bushwackers fender flares that is rhino lined.The wheels are brand new ATX 18x9 and Tires are slightly used with about 80 percent treadwear Procomp Xtreme 325/60/18. There a couple dings on the side of the truck and the clear coat is starting to peel on the hood, overall the body is in excellent condition given its age.
