Details: I picked up an 84 Toyota ex cab SR5 with sunroof a while back and have been tinkering with it for a while. I got it with a flowmaster exhaust (older) 63´ springs mounted in the rear and a custom made flatbed that cost the PO $1000+. It has roughly 238k on it with a rebuild (per PO) about 70k ago. It´s a 5 speed single stock case. I don´t really want to sale and don´t really have to but I´m looking at options to get my FJ40 done. Things I´ve done to it so far:Completely rebuilt front end with new koyo bearings and seals (including trunion and wheel) and marlin ecoseals with chromo birfs, ARP studs, new rotors, calipers, and pads, new longfield lifetime knuckle seals, braided xtended brakelines.4 brand new Pro comp Rockcrawler rims 17x9 with 2.5 backspace $100/rim and 5 Dunlop 35x17x12.5 in decent shape (at least ½ to ¾ tread left). I went with 17´s because future plans were to use 37´ tires and they are easier to get in 17Trailgear hi pinion front with 5.29´s and detroit locker (less than 500 miles on it) costs $1500 newnew TG custom long slip driveline for the RUF conversion I didRUF conversion up front with IFS steering box mounted and Marlin crossover steering with SKY manuf. boomerang shackle kit. I have a brand new power steering pump and hi-pressure hose for it that I haven´t installed yet.new braided brakeline for the rear.Brand new Yukon 5.29´s for the rear with a completely rebuilt E-locker out of a 2007 FJ cruiser. It´s not hooked up to a switch yet but I do have the switch and harness. I have pictures of the install, backlash, gear pattern, etc.Two brand new front fenders on it, new chrome grill and lenses, new turn signals, etc. and I swapped in a set of manual crank doors (same color as truck) because the electric windows suck.The gears and axles have over $3000 of new parts in them alone. Most of the money is in the drivetrain so much of the major work is out of the way.Most everything works on the truck except the front blinkers since I haven´t mounted the actual blinkers. It is drivable and I currently have it registered and insured.The bad stuff: The interior is in fair condition with major cracks in the dash. Has little stuff that needs work like front bumper, front blinkers, etc. Has a vacuum leak but I may have that fixed this week just need to track it down. It needs the PS pump to be installed to have power steering again. It could also use a set of lower gears in the t-case to make it a true crawler.
